Dr. Todd E. Wright

Dr. Wright is a member of the American Optometric Association, the national organization representing over 22,000 optometrists in all 50 states. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry, an organization comprised of optometrists and research scientists around the world. Fellowship in the Academy requires a year-long program of case presentation and oral examination at the American Academy of Optometry Annual Meeting. He has lived in Edmond over twenty years with his wife, Kathy and their two children. He attended Oklahoma Christian University and received his Bachelor’s of Science degree and also attended the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, receiving his Master’s Degree in Microbiology and Immunology. He then attended Northeastern State University College of Optometry in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, receiving his Doctor of Optometry. He successfully completed all of the National Board of Examiners examinations and the Oklahoma licensure examination as well as the American Board of Optometry Board Certification requirements.

In addition to enjoying time with his family, he enjoys running, walking, golf and photography. He attends and serves at the Memorial Road Church of Christ with his family and also volunteers at the Children’s Center in Bethany, OK.

Dr. Whitney CoxDr. Whitney Cox

Dr. Whitney Cox is a native of Duncan, Oklahoma.  She graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies and a minor in Spanish.  She studied optometry at Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry where she graduated summa cum laude with her Doctorate of Optometry in May 2015.

During optometry school, Dr. Cox received a number of awards including the Clinical Excellence Award and top Academic Excellence Award. She was also featured in Women in Optometry & the Vision Monday magazine as “Best in Class” for 2015 and was recognized by the Southwest Contact Lens Society for excellence in fitting contact lenses. Dr. Cox was an active member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society and served as president of SVOSH (Students Volunteering Optometric Services to Humanity).

Dr. Cox is active in the American Optometric Association and the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians and was chosen to be a member of the Oklahoma Leadership Optometry Class of 2016.  She was also a member of L.O.Y.A.L Class XIII (Linking Oklahoma City’s Young Adult Leaders). Dr. Cox is currently serving on the Membership Committee of the OAOP and has participated in various legislative activities at the Oklahoma State Capitol to help promote the ocular health of the citizens of Oklahoma.  She is currently involved in the Junior League of Oklahoma City and is also an active member of a P.E.O philanthropic organization in the Edmond community that seeks to promote education and the advancement of women through scholarships, grants, and awards.

During her free time, she enjoys spending time at the lake with family, shopping, traveling, and attending OU sporting events!

Our Staff

The staff at Stonebridge Eye Care wants each patient to feel important and appreciated. Members of our staff are experienced and professional in the manner in which each patient is treated. Training for our staff is ongoing, as technology and optical materials change rapidly. Each staff member prepares to take certification examinations as a part of employment here and attends continuing education courses to learn about ways to better care for your eye care needs.

Whether it involves asking questions about your previous eye experiences, or discussing options for your next fashion eyewear selection, our staff members want to do everything possible to ensure you see the best and look the best. With so many contact lens options and several refractive surgery options available, any of our capable staff members can talk with you about what may be the best choices for you or your loved one.
