We welcome you to Stonebridge Eye Care and the office of Dr. Todd E. Wright and Dr. Lindsey James. As an eye care center, we are committed to providing thorough eye and vision care exceeding your expectations for service and quality. It is our mission to serve the Edmond and greater Oklahoma City metropolitan area and to be an active part of the community in which we live. We have called Edmond our home since 1988 and with our new office, we hope to be a part of Edmond’s culture for many years ahead.
It is important to remember that there is more to vision and eye care than just receiving new glasses or contact lenses. The eye is a window into the body, allowing the doctor to visualize blood vessels and nerves in the normal state and to detect various diseases including diabetes, high blood pressure, glaucoma, cataracts, cornea disease, and macular degeneration. With a comprehensive eye examination, subtle or even unknown health conditions can be detected and the appropriate treatment initiated, preserving one of God’s greatest blessings in our life – eyesight.
We utilize technologically advanced instrumentation to assist us in an accurate diagnosis of visual problems and treatment of eye disease. The automated refractive instrument provides us with a computerized reading of your eyes, which provides an accurate starting point to help determine your final eyeglass prescription. With a biomicroscope or slit lamp, Dr. Wright will examine several parts of the eye under high magnification. Our office utilizes computerized visual field examination technology to detect early signs of diseases including glaucoma. As an optometric physician, Dr. Wright is dedicated to providing his patients with a thorough vision and eye health examination. His is committed to taking care of your vision and eye care needs.
